I forgot how to draw for a bit when I got to the last panel, that was a surreal experience.

How do you expect to go to work when you burn in sunlight?

@Merrsharr: That's Tim, Roy seems alright in the sunlight :'D

@eishiya: oh, with the last chapter ending at Blair's and this chapter starting there, I hadn't realized it's not a direct continuation... but yeah, the lack of burn in his face should have tipped me off

@Merrsharr: I thought it might be that! The ending of ch 8 was meant to be a parallel to the ending of ch 7 (where Roy arrived at the house), but in designing that, I wasn't thinking about how that might influence people's reading of chapter 9 (which continues from ch 7, not 8) :'D

The alternating stories thing has been a source of confusion for a few readers so far, so I doubt I'll be doing that again, at least not without additional distinctions such as art style.

Blair is suspiciously nice now, like he wants to study Roy... But then it's only logical and Roy is spacing out to the point of not noticing when the blood sample was taken.

That weird angle in panel 2, you're so good at those!
