I don't like chapter covers, but chapters do need some kind of separator, so I decided to borrow an idea from another comic of mine and do... stuff like this. Little world-building notes, but hopefully not too "tell"-ey.

These fit the structure of BD much better than chapter covers would. BD's chapters are "chapters" in name only.

Is Skow an original creation or does it have a mythological background? I can't find any reference online.

@Merrsharr: They're original-ish. Their appearance and some of their lore is inspired by black dog ghost stories (and a bunch of other stuff), and the name is somewhat based on that of Black Shuck, a specific example of a black dog (with contamination from a bunch of Norse words).
