Yaaay, night time!
When I was first sketching this page, I got so distracted by getting to draw night time that I accidentally skipped over the whole next scene (...the most important one...) and drew the ending of it in that last panel. Fortunately I did get the nagging feeling that something was off.

There wasn't a Sunday update last week because I didn't meet my work quota for it. I've been having a bad time recently so I'm not sure there will be one this week either. But, regardless of whether the next update is Sunday or Wednesday, it'll be a two-pager! Also, the batch of pages I'm working on now is the ending of chapter 1, so that's something!

amazing!! see? this type of art style is foreign to me and your last panel there depicting night time with the lamp light is just SO well done!

The night time panel does look great but my favourite ones are the day panels here - I can just feel the light there, which is impressive for a black and white page! Especially the panel with the house!

@Oly-RRR: The trick is to be super-lazy and just not draw anything that's lit more than a little!

@eishiya: Shush, I know it takes thinking it through so don't tell me about "lazy"! :D

I really like your work, I'm impressed on how you manage the shadow/lighting elements. The story is catching me since the cover.
